8/11/25 Midsummer Bloom
Midsummer Bloom is a Floral Design Workshop with special guest educator Karis.
Date: August 11th, 2025 (approximately 9-5pm with a lunch break)
Location: Hyssop Floral Design Studio | 619 Lyon St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503
Hyssop Floral is excited to welcome our dear friend Karis who specializes in Floral Education, and Designing for Weddings and Events. Based in California, Karis is one of our favorite designers we've ever had the privilege of knowing. To keep this class intimate and immersive, there will be 8 spots available, on August 11th, from 9am-5pm (with a break for lunch and refreshments). During this class, you'll learn about Karis's artful approach to floral design with a focus on color theory in addition to her techniques to achieve a balanced, colorful design. As part of the class, you'll be able to design a bouquet and centerpiece using locally grown blooms, and wrapping up the class you’ll have access to professional photos of your work captured by our talented friend Jillian Bowes.
Cost: $1400 before tax
Cancellation Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you are no longer able to attend the workshop, your spot can be transferred to someone else. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds.
If you wish to transfer your spot, please arrange payment with the new attendee and provide us with their name and contact information so we can update our records. This helps us account for the time, flowers, and preparations that go into planning each event.
