Winter has a way of asking us to slow down, though it doesn't always make it easy. Hyssop After Dark is an invitation to step out of the everyday, settle into a quieter rhythm, and spend an evening surrounded by music, flowers, and the simple pleasure of making something with your hands.

These intimate evenings bring together live music, a thoughtfully composed botanical still life, and an open invitation to create. Guests are welcome to explore their own intuition through collage, with materials provided by Hyssop, or bring along a journal, a watercolor set, or another quiet creative practice of their own. And if making isn't calling to you that evening, you're equally welcome to simply sit, listen, and take it all in.

We'll have complimentary tea and a few thoughtful bites to enjoy. These are alcohol-free gatherings where we would only have non-alcoholic beverages provided, though you're welcome to bring your own beverage if you'd like.

Our hope is to create a restorative little pocket of time in the middle of winter. A place to turn inward, find inspiration, listen without distraction, and enjoy the ambiance of the music without lots of conversation. Come on your own or with someone you love; just come ready to settle in.

Each evening is open to everyone, with seating limited to 16 guests per date. We intend to host each gathering regardless of how many seats are filled, so even a small circle is a welcome one.

Tickets are transferable but nonrefundable. We are hopeful for cooperative winter weather, but should an emergency winter storm warning require us to reschedule, we'll gladly offer a refund or transfer your reservation to another evening.
